Sounds crazy but I'm ready for shed season.

    For you guys that start early...do you feel its a waste of time since all bucks may not have dropped? You'd have to check that area again at a later time to make sure you didn't prematurely search, right?

    So far I know of 4 bucks that have completely shed... def early for my area.

    They better keep their antlers on for until mid-January here. I still have to kill my buck this year!

    After that though, I'm ready to burn up the hillsides here looking.

    I dont think its a waste, I enjoy watching the big bucks with their head gear still on :tu:

    But it does kind bum me out when I have to drive 2hrs to a good location expecting to find sheds. But, there is other scouting work to be done so I dont feel like its a waste of time.

    As soon as I wrapped my 2010 tag around his antler, I was ready for shed season.

    Tough weather moving in... It's gonna start raining antlers.

    Time to gas up the car and break out the walking shoes.
