Yes! Especially when everyone else in the office is working a ton of hours to meet a deadline and they come to work at 8:15 and leave at 4:45. Staying silent is becoming increasingly difficult.

Well if you don’t get enough for a fur coat, you could probably get a bomber-style fur hat out of that.

Shart took one of the legs off the squirrel before I got home, and the dogs played tug of war with it after.

I like it, I have till the end of february before the season closes, still after the elusive black squirrel. I want to get one before Shart.

I am going to have to find a way to tie the traps down if I move them up to the pasture, I am sure a fox or coyote would take the squirrel trap and all.

I think when I hit 20 or so I will move the traps to the pasture, hopefully it will warm a little and I can use the gamo from the house on the feeder squirrels.

Wire them down to some weight plates (or tractor weights). Low profile and heavy.

Anchor the rat traps-wire to a log/ tree or anchor with stakes/ weight as suggested.
Surround them with #4 coil springs and pick up a shawl for the wife.

The ecosystem balance is changing in front of our eyes. This is the straw that broke our environments back. It all started here.....
