Holy crap this thread has pretty much featured Shart the squirrel killing cat. Well the true star of the barn is War Kitten his brother, War Kitten has never lost a fight with his brother Shart and he tracked my buck last fall. I valued War over Shart based on those abilities but today I went up to feed the deer and War was eating the black squirrel he killed and went after the dogs that dared get close to his kill. War Kitten is the barn MVP IMG_0802.jpg

They get fed 3 times a day while it is cold, they are fat cats I think I would be a little nervous to be in the barn if they were hungry.

Small game season is over now, I have put the traps away, the squirrel killing is up to War Kitten and Shart till next fall.

I think you should claim the "they are doing damage" exemption and continue

And I think of this thread every time I see the Geico add with the squirrels. LOl

If I could operate under the laws of the time I could but I don't think I have that many squirrels. Thanks for posting the story though it was a good read.

Well there is one last casualty in the squirrel war, the lowest on the food chain an animal universally despised. The red squirrel I but some bird shot in the wife's new toy and shot that SOB.

Damn it the traps are redeployed I saw yet another red squirrel, there is no season on the red squirrel they need to be taken out immediately.

I can't stand those redheaded bastards. I like to shoot them because no method has ever worked before. Only I had to stop doing it because it upsets my wife. She feels sorry for the squirrels... I'm thinking of contacting a squirrels removal company https://tulsa.aaacwildliferemoval.com/squirrel-removal since I heard that it is very effective. In addition to removing squirrels, the company removes the results of their vital activity, and this is very cool. Most likely, I will do so, because it seems to be the most effective and reasonable solution to the current situation.

I still will stop what I am doing and get the 410 out of the garage for a red squirrel I don't mess with the gamo on a red.

The old wood rat trap with peanut butter an occasional half a peanut or kernel of corn. They are destructive little a-holes.
