Almost the same as a 170” deer walking by just out of range and then a spike at 20 yds. Lol

I was going to feed the deer early but there are squirrels at the feeder, have to hunker because of the first 3 squirrels in one day possibility.

I have a chest freezer with venison, pork, beef, and chicken. I have tried squirrel in the past, they are like an MRE I would have to be damn hungry to eat that.

Don't feel like going back through 10 pages to find it: are you going to get it mounted if you trap a black one?

I have not decided between a full mount or a shoulder mount, a nice pedestal perhaps?

Number 17 is so humbling, when you have a goal and it is achieved it just kind of overwhelms, gimme a second folks.

Way to keep at it! I know it’s been a long season for you but we all know it only takes a couple of seconds for things to change and you get a shot at your wall hanger. Lol.

I agree with dnoodles. Squirrel is good if cooked correctly.

No after 20 out of the yard, I will move the traps up the food plot by the deer feeder.

I started to read that article and could not make it thru, when you are eating meat and calling it crewelity free, like that squirrel was not killed like a barnyard animal. Then when people eating in a restaurant act like they are reducing their carbon foot print because they are eating a dish prepared using squirrel as meat. Those people lie to themselves to either feel better about themselves or to out liberal their friends.

it was a tough read. Pretentious twits; I believe WillO would say. Something like that.
Just thought it was funny I came across that article on Drudge right after you posted about not liking squirrel.
