It's about time to get out and trim up shooting lanes, check on existing sets, and re-hang a few. However, I'm also considering purchasing a few more hang-ons to cover my options a bit more thoroughly this season. The problem is, I'm not overly comfortable with the openness of my two hang-ons I added last year (Field and Stream), plus I'm a little leary of the durability. Two of my other hang-ons are older(heavier) well built climbers that I converted into hang-ons. They weren't much for packing in as climbers, but the added security of the top section that I adjust when I settle in is nice. Plus the fact that they are secured to the tree with a metal v-bar AND my straps makes me feel more more secure.

Problem is, those stands aren't made anymore. Looking through my Keystone Country Store Catalog, I saw Snipe makes a climber-like hangon called the Vulcan. At $94, it's not too bad, but I was curious if anyone knew of any other more enclosed, quality climbers and/or hang-ons? Weight isn't really an issue, as these are on private ground and are usually hung and done for the season one time.

Got it.....Bass Pro has the SnipeR Vulcan for 89.99. Aside from the gun rest, it looks like an Ol Man Roost, which is what I am getting two of this year to add to my arsenal. 89 bucks with all the pads and whistles...not too shabby though.

Of course I make a typo mistake on something important.

Ben, does GM or D*ck's still have their 20ft sticks in stock?

Also, for everyone, a quick search turned up little on Sniper. Any reviews on this company?

Yeah, I've heard that from a few people. I've had good luck with my D*ck's sticks (wow, that's inappropriate:D), but I might give GM a try.
