But you now have the curse upon you. Some brief history about my playoff predictions. To make it very brief...... I suck:p. In the last 5 years I'm picking winning teams at about a 5% ratio. I've successfully picked one game to date this year . It's just one of those things. Want to make some money on football games pick the opposite of me. So..... I apologize to all the Vikings fans but I am picking them to beat the Saints. I also have Indy beating the snot out of the Jets. I'm guessing at best .... at very very best I get one right. No way I'll get them both right. Indy vs. jets? I dont' see being wrong with that one. That leaves the Vikings. I'm just sayin.....
Well...I have just about as much luck as you... I give you my history. 1) I used to always believe in my MN teams... They have always proven me wrong. When I stopped watching them, They got better. 2) Any time I have ever picked a team to do any good...they have failed. ANY GAME!!! Here's the real kick in the shorts...(Frontside). 3) A couple years back...I bought a ticket from a vending machine of sorts. This special ticket was purchased prior to a season that started. This ticket was $200, and said that a certain Detroit team would win a certain cup... I lost said ticket... They won said cup... I lost BIG. So, that being said. I have lost all interest on who really wins, sure I would like to see certain teams earn their multi million dollar stadiums, and what not, but its not really a big deal to me. I just like to see high scoring games, with a lot of clean, good times. When people start taking things too seriously, it is no longer a game. That is why I prefer college. They still have something to prove. lol.
Minnesota's Lord's Prayer Our Favre-there who art in Mississippi Hallowed be they name Thy bowl will come, it will be won, in Miami as it is in the Dome. Give us this Sunday, our weekly win. Give us touchdown passes, but do not let others pass against us. Lead us not into frustration, but deliver us to the Super Bowl. For thine...is the MVP, the best of the NFC, and the glory Of the Purple People Eaters now and forever. Amen
I am already nervous for the game. I am more confident than most years because they have been winning the games they usually end up beating themselves or throwing it away. It's just this year seems to be like it was meant to be. The new stadium issue, The favre story so many other things it's almost like everything is working out for it to happen. But in the back of my head as a life long Viking fan it is the "Vikings" and I am preparing myself for the letdown. I do believe they are better than the Saints the Vikings are so complete, name one area they are weak in? I do believe the Vikings will win if they play like last week. The one factor that Saints have which could be huge is the homefield advantage. Many areas the Saints are as good as the Vikings but there is some areas where they are not as good. SKOL VIKINGS!
