Sony WCS-999 Wireless Mic Issue

    Hey Guys,
    I recently purchased a set of Sony WCS-999 Mic and transmitter and I am getting really bad static, I have used it a couple of times and I am not sure how to adjust it, It is extremely noticeable when I have the ear piece in to hear what is being recorded. I am filming with an SLR. Nikon D5300

    Can anyone HELP?
