I don't know the last time I saw a season finale with that much action and plot twists and changes. The dog fighting scene was beyond hard for me to watch, the wife left the room as we work with dog rescues and have worked with Pits that were from fighting raids. I have a new found love for Tig after last night, I really never liked him until now. The scene where Otto bit off his tongue and threw it at the was was EPIC, that has to be one of the sickest things I have ever seen on t.v. Bobby being out as V.P. is great, I just hope he doesn't tell Pope's guy anything. I have a feeling someone will finger Jax for it. The killing of Pope was an awesome plot twist for me. I didn't think they would kill him off so soon but when he called saying he would be late and was early I had a feeling something was up. Talk about a mental fuk for Tig! I didn't hear what Jax said to Gemma at the end, but it seemed like she contacted him after she had it out with Tara and he ok'd her telling the Police that Tara asked for the murder weapon. In a strange twist she has stepped it up and helped Jax with framing Clay and we know how Jax will do anything to keep his kids safe and with him. He also no longer needs Tara's paycheck with the legit Pope deal. I wonder if the IRA will try to save Clay, I have the feeling we haven't seen the last of him Can't wait for next season, should be a killer series once again.
No way Jax would OK Tara to jail. That was genuine surprise when they took her away. I think he flips a gasket on Gemma when he finds out. Clay will either be killed early like Ope, or take on a much bigger villain role similar to Pope next season. Tig and Chibs are loyal as ever now, but Juice and Bobby seem to be fading on that aspect.
The guy shoved a Speedball into his exes arm, why wouldn't he ok Tara to take a dive. The papers that Tara wanted him to sign were torn in half at the end, you sure he wouldn't do ANYTHING to keep those boys in Charming? What I think you might be missing is that Jax is becoming someone he never wanted to be and he is cunning, look how he took out Pope and Clay with one shot
Tara is his Gemma (to Clay)...he would and will do anything to keep her IMO. We shall see next year I guess.
I disagree. He didn't seem to care that she was carted off by the police. I found the closing scence to be creepy in my book. Gemma with arm on Jax's shoulder. It seems that mother son relationship runs pretty deep.
That's a great clip, it's not hard to see why some folks on these tv shows get attached to each other, especially with the bond of brotherhood they play out in the show. Sucked to see Opie leave the show, and what a cool send off the guys did for him in this vid.
Awesome season finale. Im not 100% convinced that Gemma is the reason Tara got arrested, yet. I dont see a way that Clay can make it through the next season and I have a feeling Juice is going to do something horrible very soon. What that is, I have no idea.
So one of my buds @ work let me know that Season 5 is on iTunes already as of last week. Since I didn't get the first 3 episodes on DVR, I waited to start season 5 until I had access to all the episodes. Needless to say I downloaded the season on Thursday last week and just finished tonight......once you start watching it's impossible to stop. Anyhow, I'm betting Clay has something to do with Tara getting arrested. Gemma told him that she dug up that cross for Tara to give to Otto when he found her going through those boxes earlier in season. Also, Juice was the last person to handle Clay's 1911. If Clay's prints were on it so were Juice's. There is no way with Clay's new venture with the IRA he's gonna die. My bet is that Pope's bounty gets passed on to Jax or Juice somehow.
Of all the teasers theyve had through the seasons, this one is by far the best. So many possible meanings.
It's going to be interesting.... Teasers last season vaguely let on to what was going to happen last season.. I can't wait!
