Wanna know something crazy FITZ? In Indiana outside of park hunt draws while limited to 1 buck....I can techinically with my lifetime Indiana hunting license harvest a TON of deer. Each county has a separate bonus antlerless quota....so long as I am in a different county I could harvest say 8 in one county...skip over and harvest another 4....skip another county and get another 4....LOL!

Very few in Indiana harvest more than 3 deer anyways...but I potentially could

If I get my act together and shoot a buck, I can always head to Wi and shoot a buck or doe. :)

Unfortunately I haven't killed a buck in 3 years! The ability to kill so many may be partially to blame? I also have been much more selective on what I pull the trigger on. On our farm we don't kill anything smaller than a 6 pointer so I passed on a few small bucks last year.

October 1st here. Haven't decided yet but I have a itch to get somewhere in September. Depending on money at the end of the month that could even mean Colorado with a buddy of mine.
Went and hung the first stand at my new property the other day. Waiting on a north wind before I attempt to hang the second set. Have yet to step foot in the area since April. So when I go in and hang the set I will be putting a cell camera out also. I feel it will be a much better location but just being very careful with it until the corn is cut ImageUploadedByBowhunting.com Forums1472228891.943510.jpg ImageUploadedByBowhunting.com Forums1472228920.773148.jpg

Nick, I already informed the wife and got the plan to purchase MI tags next year as a reality. LOL! Actually it all started with me wanting to go back out to Kansas for whitetails or CO for elk and she was like, "don't you have a cheaper option?"

So bow only spots in MI it is for 2017. If I tag out early and you need a camera guy on that spot ever, let me know, good way of checking it out but not hunting it till next season.

I be out on this one guys I hurt my back yesterday. Now I got pain in my butt. I'm thinking I got a pinched nerve. If you all can get a replacement I'd do so.

That stinks. I deal with chronic back pain (not real bad), from me overcompensating for a shorter left leg. I go to my chiropractor about once a month. He keeps me mobile. Have you tried a chiropractor yet? If it is a pinched nerve, a back cracker might get you back in the game? Good luck!

I pulled my camera cards yesterday that I have had out over two of my mineral sites for the last month. Had over 500 pics and only 1 small buck on camera. It is very odd usually I have 7 or 8 different bucks on cam this time of year hitting the minerals pretty hard. Not sure what to think but I will see what next month produces.

Awesome, glad someone will be hitting the woods brother! Keep us posted! Good Luck!

Lot can change in the next month...our one property is terrible for buck sightings till September starts kicking in and some years it takes till mid-October.

Went to Dr yesterday, and he has referred me to a orthopedic. I don't see him until the 13th. The Dr said he thought I had bad disc so I guess I wait and see now.
