October 1st here...depending on winds I may try to get a doe down and out of the way first night like I've done a couple years now...but really only looking at taking a doe off 2 of my main 4 properties I have during bowseason.....we shall see.
Well fellas got some new pics and the New Property is gonna be coined "temptation" I think....gosh there is some serious potential there for some BRUTES! Splits the more and more I watch him I think is a mere 2.5 this year....Gary a 3.5 with immense non-typical potential and Big Dave the only buck I don't hesitate to think is 4+. I sure hope Gary and Splits stay away, especially Splits as he is unique enough I might not be able to pass....hopefully Pops just takes him out! LOL! Couple Pics:
Pretty much....I've always lived with the rule "if I naturally reach for the loop with my release I'm gonna let it happen..." His potential is amazing, but his present is nothing to be ashamed about if harvested. So I hope to not see him in season or if I do already have my one buck tag filled.....and PRAY like H*** he lives to see 2017 or an arrow from my Pops! lol!
I was just curious as to whom besides Fitz if anyone on our team is a 1 deer only type tags this year? Anyone else in that situation?
Geesh! I mean I could see how awesome that potentially could be though! Some years I wish Indiana would go back to 2 buck rule, but the 1 buck rule has done awesome things for the age structure.
Not in that situation in Delaware. I get a total of 6 tags. Can take two buck and four doe and if you fill all the doe tags you can purchase additional ones. I'm pretty picky so I typically only fill one or two tags but people around here shoot anything that walks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
