Exciting times right around the corner guys! These are two deer that will running the areas I hunt. I'm pretty sure the big non typical will be near 200".

I don't use tapatalk so might just be that which is acting up. I will say best way to stay up to date on the team thread is to "subscribe" to it if you or anyone else hasn't yet. Under "thread tools" right at top of thread page. You can pick how often you want updated via email.




As for the apparent voting for me to be captain I'd have said no way a few months ago but I just decided to stop my second job and life has freed up some. I can do it if votes continue that way I guess....should be easier than even normal (done it before couple times) since Fitz is on our team haha!

I'll shoot Nick Coholey a text to check in...trust me fellas dude always has solid deer and is an awesome teammate to call our own.

 

I suggest the name terd burglars cuase you terds will have a hard time stealing second place! lol good luck to you all this fall! from team 20 the reigning champions of the world!

Sons of Actaeon sounds good to me.

 

Man, looking at these Greek figures is sad.

Actaeon, a hunter, was turned into a deer. Cool right? Right up until his own hunting dogs tore him to pieces.

Orion won the love of Artemis the goddess of the hunt, wild animals, wilderness and virginity. Pretty sweet until she accidentally shot him in the head.

I like Actaeon because it was a new character for me and the man/deer thing could make for a great logo. However, I've always loved my trips across the lake for my morning hunts under the twinkle of orion. Like I said, either is fine by me.

 

I was waiting for the first person to see or read the endings of each. I'm a fan of first one myself because everyone knows orion but not Actaeon. But like both.

I'll send out a message to all tomorrow with the recommended names and take an official vote.
