Some of you may remember we got our 8 year old son a new Razors Edge for his birthday. Well today the weather was nice and we decided to go shooting.

It is set just under 30 lbs. He put about 25-30 arrows through it today before heading home. Overall I am pleased with how he did. I wasn't worried to much on how the bow was sighted in today. I just got it to the point where he was hitting the target then worked on some basic mechanics.

He made some major progress today considering this was the first day he ever shot a real bow.:)

I bet you cant wait. I know I couldn't, but it was worth it.
Yes they are! Low poundage yet packs a nice punch. Not to mention it can fit him until he can buy his own.

Thats awesome! It's always good to see Dads spending the time to pass along the tradition that we all love.

My boys are 9 & 10 and w've been shooting as much as we can for the last several weeks.

    Thanks guys.

I am so pumped he is getting into it so much.

We had a couple hours free today so we flung out a few arrows.

Keep in mind this was the second day shooting his bow ever.
