So getting a new bow was on hold after selling the Bowtech because those funds ended up covering Dixie's vet bills (she's doing great!). I decided I was going to try to sell my AR 10 for a bow fund. Was on Craigslist to make a listing and saw a new ad for a Mathews Heli-m. Therefore, after a trade which balanced out well, I am now the proud owner of this! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371945778.816244.jpg

It has the G5 sight with the floating pin and a light, Mathews 5 arrow quiver, Axion stabilizer and QAD drop away. Can't wait to sight these pins in!!!!

Dog is healthy being the most important part! Once I get some arrows and start sighting this in, it's funny to watch a Bulldog go lumbering down the yard after the arrow you just fired!

Thanks everyone, can't wait to get out in the woods with it this season. Already found a good spot in the publics Tate forest for the Lone Wolf to go and this bow should look sexy up there lol

I still have to put some meds in Dixie's eye to help the healing from the ulcers but the best part was her blood work had come back negative for any thyroid conditions. Some of the thin patches of hair turned out to be from allergies, but she does have to get more exercise!
As for the trade, that AR 10 has been sitting in my closet and I figured why not sell it to get a bow, and timing worked out and the guy wanted to do a trade and I still have a bunch of 308 ammo left over for my Ruger bolt action. Only thing I may do is put a Ripcord on the bow, the QAD rest is the only thing on the bow that looks like it's been used quite a bit.

Took the bow into the local pro shop yesterday to have it checked out since I bought it used. Overall Mike said the bow basically looks brand new, only issue found was the string stop limb has a very small crack in it from the screws being over-tightened so that's on order and picked up arrows as well. Today, I have to fix one of the fletchings already lol
