I've noticed with bulky clothes and shooting from ground that I have to make sure I get my anchor points down. Knuckle on ear lobe and tip of nose on string. Otherwise I shoot low and to the right. This could be the issue. Practice with clothes you are hunting with and verify anchor points. If this is not the case it's probably nerves. Happens to me sometimes. Even on does.

keep practicing and you practice like you play. That means line your shot up like you do practicing and shoot. I know for me I don't lift my head up when it's a target so don't do shooting in the woods! Once I see a deer I'm going to shoot I pay 0 attention to the rack I only see the kill zone of my target. I know 100% if I make a true shoot I do not have to pick my head because I know it's right where I wanted it. Not paying attention to the rack helps me with buck fever, and remember to control your breathing! Hope it helps and good luck you'll get it!

snapping the trigger? I notice if I quickly snap at my release, I flinch and my shots went high. I practiced slowly squeezing the release trigger until it goes off "unexpectedly".

It is prbly a combo of the deer jumping the string, excitment at the moment of truth and as others said grippiing the bow to firmly.Dont worry it took me 4 misses before i got my first one.

Don't practice until you get it right, practice until you can't get it wrong.

Make sure you are bending at the waist and not dropping that elbow. That is probably your biggest problem. Also pull through the shot. Don't physically squeeze that trigger.

check your grip. last year I realized that in practice my grip was fine, but when it came to make a shot on an animal, I was so nervous/excited that I was squeezing the grip with my entire hand. The exact opposite of how I shoot when I practice.
