Well got up way early, got to the tree early, sat in 15 mph wind, it was about 40 degrees out, sat for about 4 hours and nothing moved at all, i usually see deer pretty often in that spot, i get down to start the walk to the truck, i have about a half mile walk through an open cattle pasture and sure enough, a young buck chasing two does in the midst of all the cows, really, just my luck....this bowhunter is gettin irritated..
yea we hadnt seen any in like 2 weeks and on the way home we hit a 5 pointer... but thats just about how it goes.... good luck to ya this season.
