Last Deer season after several days of being skunked there was a very large squirrel that spent the entire day running around on a tree limb about 15 feet away. By the end of the day after not seeing any deer come my way I was irritated to say it lightly and that squirrel would not leave me alone so I drew back on my Hoyt and pinned it to the tree. Had squirrel stew that night. Delicious!

With a Pine Marten in your tree, you'll never have to worry about squirrels :tu:

They never come around me...Of course neither do the deer...

Stupid chipmunks drive me nuts. Sounds like the woods are alive when you get 2 of those guys playing.

I've seen a lot of different Pine Martin and Fishers when bow hunting the last 2 years where I hunt. They are cool to see, but I hear they can be really mean too.

I had a bobcat walk to the bottom of my tree, then it proceeded to put its front paws up the tree and look up at me.

last fall i had and owl in a tree behind me. i could hear him moving around and stuff so i turned around just in time to see him take off towards me and fly 5 feet in front of my face, so close that i could feel the wind from his wings! after he realized that i was moving he flew onto a tree in front of me, stared at me for a while, and then did the same thing again before flying off! talk about $hitting my pants!!
