Someone stole my cam then put it back.. Check this.

I'm thinking there might be at least 2 different people messing with your cams. One has a conscience and just wants evidence of him on your land removed and one likes to steal cameras.

I put a note folded up in mine that reads:
If you've found this camera, congratulations, you're trespassing, tampering with property that is not yours and your picture has just been transferred to the local county sheriffs department. As long as you leave the camera unharmed and don't come back, you'll never hear from my lawyer..who consequently, also owns this property.

 

If someone had a picture of me drinking wine in a side by side I would kick my own ***.

 

Had one of my cams stolen last year, still pissed off about it. Hope you catch the guy.

This bs drives me crazy, I honestly Have no idea why people do this crap. I have walked past several cams and stands on public and private lands without even thinking about taking anything. I just don't get peoples actions. To me it's quite simple do unto others as you would like done unto you. It's not hard, ****.. Where are all these peoples mothers!! I hope you catch him, I'm still looking for the AH that took some of mine! Good luck pegging him!!

 

It does look like the same guy. Strange he didn't take that cam after going through all that other effort 2 days earlier. Also caught drinking while driving I would think he'd be worried about that enough to take the cam. Was this cam locked? Glass of wine, he must live close by. On a muddy day maybe tracks will lead back to his house. I bet neighbors will know who it is and tell you if their willing to cooperate.

 

That sucks. Definitely follow up on finding him.

had one guy steal mine on a four wheeler and I took and buried a sheet of plywood with nails sticking out of it and sunk it in a mudhole. never had that guy tresspass after that. another guy tried to mess with me, well he got a surprise. I knew where his stand was since he tried to set right on me. after I shot a doe I carried her guts up and left them on his treestand. he was out of there! yes this was all on our private property.

The pics left and the wine definitely speak to him giving you a message...this guy is either an extreme ****** bag or someone you know playing a joke...or both.

Not sure how I missed this but the guy taking a ride with a glass of wine is classic. He a sophisticated camera thief.
