As stated before....check your deductible for the insurance. That will help determine if a claim is worth it or not. Contact your agent and the agent should be able to explain everything. Sorry to hear that. I'm an insurance agent. This information is more for people to know for the future and doesn't really help the current situation. You can schedule certain items on your insurance policy. I have my bow insured for $1500 with $100 deductible for $20/year. If you don't schedule it then you have either your home deductible or renters deductible. My home deductible is $1000. Wouldn't do much good if my bow was stolen without it scheduled on my policy. Call your insurance agent and ask ahead of time. Same goes for guns. Most policies have limitations on how much they will cover for guns, jewelry, etc. You have to schedule it on the policy.
Without sounding harsh or anything in what possible sitting does 1 leave their bow out on the porch? Unless I'm reading your post wrong, I could see if you all were practicing on a target or whatever and went in to grab a bite to eat but even then you would have seen the person responsible for stealing it correct? So again why was it on the porch along with other bows as you stated? Doesn't give anyone the right to steal it non the less and sorry to hear it was no doubt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
check craig's list for the same model. quick way to move it. That really sux. Hopefully your insurance will cover it.
I didn't get him but right now he's on the run for stealing over $2500 worth of stuff and possession of drugs
Yeah the insurance won't cover it so I'm looking at a Parker UltraLite 30. It seems like a good bow for $399. A guy on AT gave me a $40 quiver free I just had to pay $8 shipping. I also got a sword sabre sight in good condition for $25 and a G5 CMAX for $65. I saved $100 on just the sight and rest and $28 on the quiver. So yesterday was a pretty good day, I feel like I'm going to get back at sooner than I thought.
Homeowners or renters insurance would cover it as personal property at replacement cost subject to deductible. What do you mean by saying the insurance wont cover it?
