Some of you may remember me posting some pictures of one of my major jobs around the new house this summer. Basically the goal was get the grade corrected so water wasn't running into the workshop, create better retaining walls (that preferably aren't sitting on a 2" floating slab with no stone base:rolleyes:), and insulate/sheet the exposed block wall.

Work was sparse once hunting season, but we got about half of the retaining wall in, the wall furred, insulated, and sheathed. I will finish the wall this spring, and then pour the patio.

For those who didn't see the pictures, here's under the deck looked like when we bought the place.

Knock it off and get out and thin the doe herd. I want to hear you whine when you see the 140 that's running around on you property.

Yeah I know I'm a slacker. In my defense, I didn't do any of this since I shot my buck. All I've been doing is hauling wood.

I think I'm going out tomorrow.

Don't kid about the 140, the buck my dad saw above the house is definitely bigger than mine:mad::o

Nice work Matt. I love the color schemes. Oh, and don't worry about Ben or the 140. You shot a hell of a booner.

Thanks, guys. I owe a lot to my dad for the help he's provided (I couldn't have done it without him). We're not quite finished obviously, but I needed to get the majority of the walls up enough to get the full 4ft 2B backfill in for the winter. I will pick back up with it in the spring. In the meantime, it's on to finishing the family room.
