Here are a few bucks that stood out from last nights Michigan out of Doors TV show last night. One has awesome brow tines (153 4/8"), one is the womens state record crossbow @ 169 3/8" Gross & 190 5/8" net. The shot was 49 yards. Then there is an old guy with a 189 7/8" buck he shot with a Home made long bow. Next Thursday there will be the last of a four part series. I just had to post that brow tine buck!

Yeah I have been watching it. I see there was a new record for Shiawassee county where I live shot this year. I believe he was around 195"

I think I seen that one on last weeks show. I believe it was 195" gross and netted mid to low 170's, but it didn't look like it lost 20"+. It was a dandy buck.

There were plenty of bigger bucks shot this past year, but that brow tine buck is just too cool! Next week will be the bigger bucks from the Grand Rapids show.

Michigan sure does produce some giants every year. This (in my opinion) was one of the best big buck shows M.O.O.D TV has done in recent years.

Jimmy and all the crew are great! Back in 07 I was on the show,(not for a big buck night) and it is great to see down to earth people that do professional work, in a friendly non-hot shot way if you know what I mean.:)

I'm from the Muskegon area. What about you?

Unfortunately almost every buck on there is usually from private property in southern Michigan farmland area's where it is very hard to get permission to hunt. What were you on the show for?

I did a high tech bow quietness test using NVH equipment and assistance from one of the "not so big anymore" auto companies.

I have only seen the show a few times since they outsed Fred Trost. Doesn't look like a bunch of fun anymore. Probably talk more about kayaking and hiking trails, then fishing reports and big bucks. The big buck contest was always in December back then.

I don't want to bash the show too much, but you are right, the show has been more of the kayak and hiking stuff lately.

The worst one I saw was on gold panning and how great it is for the outdoor enthusiast. Whatever.

    BowFreak,

I'm from Corunna, that 195" was shot about a mile from my house. I saw him a few times.
