I am from south east texas and was directly affected by hurricane Harvey. About a month ago, we finally got reconstruction on my house started and crews of guys have been coming in to do the repairs. Yesterday, I went out to the garage where we put all of our stuff to get out the bow and start getting ready for the upcoming season. I grabbed my bow bag and noticed it felt very light. I quickly opened it up and it was gone. I know the bow was in the bag when I put it in the garage along with my tool set for it and a luggage scale I use to test draw weight and it was all gone. My heart sunk and I started to panic. I've invested a lot of effort and money to get my bow set just right for me and someone has stolen it. They could have taken anything else in that garage and it wouldn't have hurt me like taking my bow. I contacted the owner of the contracting company and he is looking into it but I have little faith I will get it back. I hope to get a replacement bow before season starts but it will never replace the bow that made me fall in love with the sport and helped me harvest my first archery deer.

Did you check with your home owners insurance to see if it might be covered under personal property? Not like getting your bow back but better than nothing. I'l let you figure out how to cover most of the deductible.

Oh no! I know how hard the hurricane hit you and can't imagine how frustrated you must be now. Hoping and praying for a resolution to all this.

This is pitiful. You think you can trust people to come into your home and help you out and then they end up stealing one of your most valued possessions. I know it's a long shot but I hope you get your bow back man.

Not going to comment last time I did on a stolen bow I won all kinds of DB of the month and year awards. But in a nutshell you can not leave a valuable weapon laying around.

I’m truly sorry, if someone stole my bow I’d be super pissed! What kind of bow was it?

It was a PSE drive LT with skullworks pattern. I absolutely love this bow.
