    I am looking at getting a new DSLR camera. I will have to check into that. If you don't mind me asking how much did it set you back? bare camera? plus lenses?

    2.8 aperture. I spent some bucks on it, but it will last a lifetime and then some, so I viewed it as investment (at least that is what I told my wife).

    The deer pics are the first low light pics I took with it and I was very pleased. They were taken right at sunset or about 30 minutes before the end of legal shooting hours.

    Very Nice photos. When I was looking into quality digital SLR, it was between Nikon and Canon. The only reason I went with the Canon was I had a buttload of lenses from my 35mm that were interchangeable.
