Checked on a couple plots over the weekend. So far they are turning out pretty good. Weather should be good this coming weekend to do some mowing and spraying last years brassica plots and preparing for oats and clover planting within the next couple weeks. Last years winter rye mix that will be tilled under for a brassica planting in July One of the old brassica plots from last fall. It will be planted in oats and red clover soon and tilled under for the winter rye mix in the fall. After a heavy dose of gly this weekend... Last fall we planted a clover mix that included rye grass in this plot. Will definitely be mowing this plot soon. A lot of great clover underneath that ugly rye grass.
