Well I am back from ND and KS, I had a great time with Tim, Tyler and Joey shed hunting and scouting ground. I can't thank them enough for having me out. The food and hospitality was great. We walked our tails off in ND working for all the finds. Down in KS with Joey it was great to meet Joey, Casi and Chloe, even though I was short on time down there we had a blast and walked some amazing ground and found some nice bones. I really look forward to going back in the future and doing some hunting with Tim and Joey. I ended up finding 17 sheds and a few dead heads. Tim was nice enough to throw in 3 additional sheds from bucks I had found sides too and a nice dead head! I got to see Joeys big bucks and especially his two monsters, Pitchfork and the sheds from Stickers, truely world class bucks! Again guys thanks for having me and making my trip so enjoyable!

Here are few pix from the trip!

Great pix. Glad you had a good time.

But, I think your trip to Mike & J's scarred you for life, all the pix here have "Iowa" in the filename.
To steal a movie line "Is this heaven? No it's Iowa" :)

Glad you could make it to KS Troy. Casi & I had a fun couple of days hanging out with ya. Hopefully next time we can get the timber walked, before someone else does.

Nice trip, Troy. You know, I suck at finding sheds. You'd think that owing my own land would have me out looking for the bone from some of those bucks that I got on trail cam. I only went 2 times........ so far....... empty handed. However, took the GF for a ride on the Rhino last week and she wanted to get out and look for sheds. Yep, she found one in 20 minutes!! WTF?

I'm going shedding this weekend. Finally got everything ready for the delivery of our trailer in 2 weeks. Now I have a bit of free time.

    Congrats on your trip.

Sounds like you had a great time, and some of them sheds look real nice.
Great pictures thanks for sharing them with us. Hopefully you can make it back for a deer season some time.

John, I owe you a public apology, Joey and I got real busy and were short on time, I am sorry wasnt able to get down there. I will make it up to you and feel real bad, you are definately one guy I want to spend some time with, hopefully when I have more time to do so. I definately plan on hunting Kansas with Joey real soon! We found some great new ground that Joey feels pretty good about us both being able to hunt. If I do that I will come out for a solid week!

Good Luck to you guys Greg! I am really looking forward to seeing what you are able to get tagged out on over the next several years on your new place. As far as those sheds go, I must admit they can be aweful hidden at times. Joey and I picked up all of the sheds we found in KS on grounds that had been hit/picked over, it was pretty evident, ie quad tracks, foot tracks, candy wrappers and chip bags left behind..

I sure hope we can get permission to hunt that one property this fall Troy. That place has everything a person could want for deer hunting. Glad we found it!

Yeah that place is something else! I hope if nothing else "you" get to hunt it! I would love to see what kind of bucks are roaming that area. How many acres do you figured that spot encompasses?

I think it's right around 320 acres. Yeah, you know that place holds some bruisers...
