I haven't posted any pictures for awhile so I figured I would after checking cameras yesterday and today. I would say that 90% of the bucks around here have shed their velvet. I passed this buck last year twice at 15 yards . I was guessing him to be 4 1/2 last year but had a couple better bucks running around so I let him walk with the hope of him putting on some inches this year. He looks pretty much the same this year except he has added the drop tine, or whatever you want to call it. He had the kicker shooting out the side last year. This buck is my number one target. I had three different encounters with him last year bow hunting and could never get a shot at him. My brother never did see him during season and he made it by my sister and dad one night during rifle season while chasing does. Hopefully this year one of us will get an opportunity at him. I'm ready for season to start!
