    Hey All,

this is my first post here. I'm a new member as of a couple weeks ago. I'm just getting into bowhunting my last several years. I bought a new bow late this year. Mathews Creed LH. I'm having a little trouble paper tuning it right now and I'm looking for some suggestions or insight. I shoot a GT 5575 about 29" My bow is set at 62lbs and I'm consistently getting a left to right tear. but it's more of a 7 o' clock to 2 o' clock type diagonal tear. I shoot the 4" quickspin vanes straight fletched. I also have a few bare shafts of the same arrow laying around, so I shot a couple of those through just to see if maybe it was the spine on the arrow being to weak. but those shafts without vanes bullet hole EVERY TIME. Any suggestions? insights are welcome. thanks All

I'm shooting the apache drop away with this set up, so I'm guessing it's not the rest interfering either.

Sounds like your not getting clearance.

Sounds like your vanes are hitting your rest. Try a lower profile vane like the pineridge 2.2, they are only 1/2" tall, might help.
