first up is my soybean plots, 1.5 acres, so far so good.

The green swath between the soys and the wheat is the egyptian wheat for a plot screen. It also completely surrounds the plot. I want the bucks to walk into the plot to see if does are in there during the rut. It will also serve as a natural funnel! to get them entering and exiting this area of the property where i want them to. If you totalled up the screen there would be close to 3/4 mile of screens planted around the field edges, fence rows and food plots.

This plot is burned down and readdy for the brassicas only a month before they go in the ground. you can see the E. W. planted around the edges!

This is a small 1/4 acre clover plot. its pure ladino clover, planted roughly three weeks ago. has a great catch so far.

This is a new plot i just created this winter and spring. It is in oats right now to keep the weeds down till I plant it to brassicas this fall. I will kill the oats and till them into the soil, this will help to build the soil.

notice in the last picture the apple tree, I bent the limb down to make a breeding scrape there this fall. only good limb in the plot, I bet it will get hammered on! DSC_0041.jpg DSC_0044.jpg DSC_0045.jpg

Hope you all enjoyed! Maybe this year will bring me a bullwinkle! :moose:

The lack of rain down by our farm has really taken a toll on the plots this year.My cclover looked killer untill the 90+ degrees for weeks on end and no rain.I planted 2acres of beans and fenced them with the E fence and NO rain........
