So much music talk lately. I love listening to Sirius simply for the fact that I get to hear bands before they reach mainstream terrestrial radio which then plays them to death. This is a band I've been listening to for about a year now. The lead singer is female, which is a nice change of pace, and she has an amazing voice. Might not be your taste of music, but for a live performance in a radio station, I think it sounds pretty good.

Bands that sound as good or better live as they do in the studio get my respect.

To much "blues" in her voice for me.

Yeah, I'm sure it's not for everyone. Just good to see someone with actual vocalization talent amongst today's pop garbage.

I dug it. I'm sure it sounds better outside of a DJ room in a radio station.

I love the cinematic orchestra! OK so have you explored the group's guest vocalists: Patrick Watson, Fontella Bass and Lou Rhodes? If not, get on it! In particular, Patrick Watson is featured on "To build a home" and Lou Rhodes on "Time & space"

There is a lot of mainstream that I like. Nothing wrong with going mainstream... It is the radios fault for overplaying the music though.

    I dig flyleaf.

Yeah flyleaf is pretty cool. She has a sort of lisp you can here in some parts of her songs, and definitely when she's just talking. I consider Halestorm more rock, but they're both good.

I've never heard of any of these bands but they all sound pretty good. Bullet for my Valentine is awesome!

Do all of you guys hear these bands on sirius? I may have to make the switch. FM sucks....I mainly listen to CDs. :)

Yeah, our local FM stations are TERRIBLE. Although flyleaf is played some on FM stations near Wilkes-Barre, Halestorm isn't played yet around here. Sirius is definitely worth the money.

Oh, and I like some of Bullet for my Valentine as well.
