Looks like a lot of 2.5 year olds they should have let grow up.;):p

Holy smokes there are some big bucks in there. What gets me is the incredible mass some of those bucks have.

    Thanks for sharing.

This buck was shot within a few miles of where Mike and I both hunt here in the 'burbs.

The buck taken in Cass County is where I hunt on state land.

You hunt at Jim Edgar?? That's only about 10-15 miles away from where I live/hunt. I'm from Oakford, IL.

    Brandon,

We have talked about this before. Yes, I hunt Site M. My buddies travel from Michigan every year. I love that place. I currently am located in Illinois, by Chicago, you know where that is? The old timers down by Site M always ask me where it is.

Honestly big bucks are killed in most of the midwest states, not just Illinois. IMO I believe Indiana is one of the best kept secrets. We don't hear much about it, but with a one buck rule Indiana is an up and comer.

The fact that their were so many different counties listed with the kills is very impressive. Who said their aren't monster bucks behind every tree in Illinois.(except the trees I was hunting out of in Illinois this year)
