Well after loosing her teaching job my wife got called back for a .6 position this year. Two days into the school year and she is back full time. She has to drive to another school, but we are back to full strength for this year. Thanks to all who thought of us and wished us well. Justin get ready to shipped some stuff, I have been holding back and I am ready to turn it loose now:D
Good news Gary. I didn't know your wife lost her job. Ouch. You've had a tough couple years, buddy. Okay, enough being nice. You're still a total wuss, and I would snap your arm off if we ever had an armwrestling match.
Great great news. My wife is a teacher as well. She is actually working 2, .6 positions this year to help get us back on track. You should feel real good for your wife, your family, and the peace her new found job will bring you all. Congratulations.
Great news Germ. I do have to ask since my wife is also a teacher.. and a cute one at that.. was she tenured when they released her?
Duke she tenured at Dundee, but last year she switch schools(one 3 miles from our house) so she would be home when the kids got home. IT was a bad switch on our part and a bad hire by the school. We would have not been in this position if we would have stayed at Dundee. She was head of speacial ed department. Fact I talk her into the swtich made me feel like a door knob.
That's what I thought.. was just wondering since my wife is tenured too. We both want her to move to another district eventually.. but due to the present state of the economy.. we're not gonna even look right now. Good to hear she found some work.
