Last sunday night, right after i got home from trout fishing in PA, i took my brother and a family friend on an evening turkey hunt (and to roost some birds for me the next morning :d). The rain held off and we heard 3-4 birds gobbling their heads off, but the closest we came to turkeys was a few hens crossing a creek a hundred yards away or so, anyways, i took the camera (hopefully my new habit) as snapped some pics and they were waiting for the big boys to crest the ridge, Enjoy:
Yea, we didnt have time for a blind setup so they improvised and set up behind large trees while i was 30 yards away on top a hill calling. Good thing for a zoom on my camera
Nice pics. Man you guys have got leaves already? Hell, it was 35 degrees here last night. They're finally talking some warmer weather this weekend. Did you ever get close enough to those toms at all.
