Finally got everything to put together this upper. Not getting into as many photos as last time, just a start and finish. This is a Bravo Company 16" mid-length barrel 1:7 twist. I am a fan of short barrel rifles, but not a fan of extended flash hiders. I got the 16" so I can have it cut down to 14.7 inches and re-threaded so I can have as short a barrel as the law will allow with out holding a class three license. The 14.7 inch barrel allows me to use a standard length flash hider to get to the over all legal length of 16" rather than the extended flash hider you must use on a 14.5 inch barrel. This is a Centurion Arms C4 12" rail with a Troy low profile gas block. Magpul back up iron sights. This is currently mated to this lower but only temporarily I have all the parts to build the lower, I am just waiting on the proper receiver I want to complete this. Thinking a Mega or Seekins billet lower. If I go forged it will be a Bravo Company lower. I will put an Aimpoint on this for optics. Started as a factory fresh Bravo Company upper, Bravo Company Gun fighter charging handle and Bravo Company bolt carrier group. Here it is complete. These are just crappy cell phone pics, sorry they suck so bad. I will do better photos when I build the lower for this upper.
Thats sick! I wish I had the time and money to do a build like this, but I have to worry about finishing college first.
Forgot to add, every thing on this was purchased at regular or sale price. No panic induced prices at all.
No, after I found out from my friend with the FFL who was supposed to acquire them that they were on backorder indefinitely, I stopped looking since I knew that was my only chance at a sub $100 lower anymore. Not to mention the actual upper I really wanted was also on indefinite backorder. Since we can't hunt with these in PA, it would just be a plinking gun, so I opted for a 19+1 XDm instead for now.
