I had already pulled it before I started taking photos, in fact I already had the handguards off and put them back on to snap that top photo. I didn't go back in the other room to get the BCG and charging handle to put them back in before I snapped the completed photos either.

    Looking good!

You ever thinking of setting up one A1/A2 style and doing the High Power competitions? I know a bunch of folk that are into it. I keep getting invited to travel out to the Nationals at Camp Perry.

Sounds like fun but I have have the wrong stock and only a detachable carry handle and detachable front sight. Instead of swapping out parts, I decided I was just going to buy a dedicated competition AR.... back when you could still buy the things. LOL.

Thanks, I like the way it came out. Not sure if I will pull the A2 front gas block and replace it with a low pro or not...

That sounds like it could be fun.

I know where you could find an A2 stock with buffer, buffer tube and buffer spring ;)

Are you near PK firearms in IL? I also know they have them in stock. That's where I picked up the delta stock.

Looks purdy. I would have swapped out the front sight gas block to a low profile probably, but it actually looks better than I would have expected w. the quad rail and the front sight.

Here it is with the BCG, charging handle and rear iron sight installed.

Here is the glass setup for it, I do not use glass very often. Usually reflex sights mounted on a 45 degree rail and the iron up top.

This is what I am talking about with the 45 degree off set on a different rifle for those who aren't sure what I am talking about.

Here is looking down the flip up iron sights.

Here is when it gets fun, cant it on a 45 degree angle and go with the reflex sight and watch the brass fly

Very very cool, I was actually thinking about glass up top and irons at a 45 on my current build. But I have never shot at a 45 so not really sure how it would work.

I prefer the 45 degree weld. That's why I have the irons up top and the reflex off set.

That's pretty cool. I wish I hadn't let my planned AR build from many years ago stall & fade into oblivion. Now certainly isnt the time to start one up.
