Hey guys - I'm getting back into archery hunting from taking about 20 years off. Lots of things changed.

Found these Solidbroad heads that when watching and reading reviews they seem to be a great fixed broadhead, though when I was younger we shot mechanicals though they weren't very good.

I like the reviews and findings thus far on them, so I'm curious has anyone used them? Thoughts on them?

Pretty much the most durable sharpest well made broadheads I've ever used, expensive but amazing quality.

I want to try them but can't bring myself to pay $80 for 3 broadheads. Everybody that uses them seems to love them though.

I've used the 2-blade rage since they have came out. I'm not saying they are the best because I haven't used anything else for the past several years. I do know that everything I have shot with them I've had a clean pass through, a good blood trail, and fairly short tracking job. They have always made me nervous about coming open in flight but I haven't have a bit of trouble with them so I will keep shooting them until they give me a reason not to. Truth be known there are a lot of quality broad heads out there and I think as long as they fly true and you can make an accurate shot then you will have meat in your freezer.

Take a look at Helix broadheads, Same principle, single bevel. Less expensive but just as deadly. The last 2 deer I shot with them went less than 40 yards each. One never even ran, she just walked real slow for about 25 yards and laid down dead.

I shoot the 100 grain head and they are probably the best flying head I ever shot. They don't produce a great blood trail as others but every deer I have shot with them they blow thru and stick about a foot in the ground. And here is the problem, they hit rocks and I 3 that have either broken the ferrule or a blade from this. Also I hear they have a good warranty and will replace them. And yes you can sharpen them again and again.

Check youtube the guys review them, put them through heavy abuse and show you how to resharpen them. They make them so sharp before leaving the factory they will shave hair. Some of the best stainless steel in the blades that money can buy and a lifetime warranty. I dont know really know what else you would want in a fixed blade broadhead.

That's great feedback. thanks guys, I think from what I'm hearing they sound worth the extra money. Will be trying them out this spring with Turkey Season and if they work well deer season in the fall. Just got a call and believe I found my hunting land for all next year and into the future.

One of the best fixed blade heads there is! I shoot the 100gr with .5 and .75 bleeders. When there is a fixed head on on the business end of my arrow it's a Solid
