    I want to try out their D-cap broad head, but I cannot begin to imagine spending that much..

    Never tried them but they remind me a lot of the carbon express XT 4 Blade broad heads. They were not that sharp out of the pack but you could sharpen them pretty easily and only cost like 20.00 a pack. Granted you get what you pay for but another distractor for me is the chances I will lose an arrow are rarely high. I am pretty sure they are a SOLID broad head, pun intended, and if I were going to do a large animal hunt say like a buffalo I might would spend the money for them.
