Great decision!!!! I decided picking up a couple packs of 125's and a strop also after talking to some guys on the forums as well as Trials experiences with them. Super pumped to be making the change! They weren't in stock when I check the website last week though. Did you order them directly from the Solid website or S&S Archery?

I maybe wrong but I think when you order right from Solid it may direct to to Steve's sight as the seller. In any event I have placed a couple orders with Steve and had good service.

I damaged my first Solid head last week. I was shooting at 40 yards and inadvertently shot two arrows at the same spot on a rhino block. The rear edge on the receiving broadhead got nicked when I slammed another one into it...the other head was undamaged.
I am going to hone it and see if it comes out. Since it's on the back cut it's a real non issue except .... I am really picky about stuff .

It really is impressive how good they shoot considering their larger profile.

On the 125's, did you get the 1/2" or 3/4" Bleeder?

I got a pack of 100 gr. this year and love them. I look at it this way, its cheaper to buy 1 pack of these and keep sharpening them after each kill then buy a couple packs of cheaper broadheads that that I don't trust using again after I have shot thru a deer. I am hoping these will last for many years, from the steel they are made from I think they will hold up after many kills for each head.

Here's a chart of popular steel for knife blades. 440c is probably the most common and s30v is a step above it.

    Do it up!!! LOL

My biggest problem now is over thinking this! Driving myself crazy! I shoot 125 grains because I always liked the wight upfront because I shot mechanical heads, now I'm rethinking the 125 grain route and don't know if I should go 1/2" or 3/4" bleeders!!!! Sitting here at the checkout page and just can't click submit order LOL

I love FOC....if I go for them it will be in the 175 gr category or stick to 125...I haven't seen a 100 gr on my arrows in years!....I even add weighted inserts up front too :D
