I found this neat little chair, kind of reminds me of one GMMAT used... Is this the best/cheapest way to go? What are you guys sitting in?

    Comfort? Hardly....ease of use, maybe.

You want comfort get a small version of that style four legged lawn chair that collapses the same...walmart sells them for $4. I bought two last spring. Comfort is tenfold that of any tripod stool, and price is right too. The material makes more noise than a tripod stool if you are fidgety though.

I really want a Magnus Rack Pack, but the money just ain't there....so I stick with the Feildline $25 backpack and walmart $4 chair for my DB, and I hunt like a king out of it....when I use it.

I have two types i use. One is a fold up type that has the legs that dont have feet, they are U shaped, I find that legs with feet tend to sink on terra firma :d I dont use pop ups to often so I use this one in ground blinds made of cedar or pine that are High enough or have a deep impression to get me low enough to be hidden and high enough to shoot over. The second is much lower and not comfy at all but has its use sometimes. Its one of those set up seats with fold up legs that are about 6" off the ground, I use these in lower built blinds with my legs sprawled out to the side. I tend to put comfort second, kinda block it out and use what works with my setups.

I actually have that chair. I like it. It serves it purpose. Easy to carry and set-up.

I have the same chair that you linked to. However, like Jeff I only use it when sharing my bling. I use a Wal-Mart folding chair when alone. cheap and easy, thats how I like it.

I use a tripod chair too.

I will give a little comfort for how easy it is to walk with. Just fold it up and its just three small pipes in your vest.

Sure cant beat that when you have to hump with a blind, dekes, and a chair, oh and youre ALONE!

Well, here's my setup. I was hoping to add another bird but, every penny is accounted for this year. I'm gonna hit the area I think that huge gobbler is in and hope for the best. I got my chair from Wally world in the fishing dept. It's made by them, Iguess. It's an FLW. What made me get this chair was it's huge cargo pockets all around where I store my slate caller, diaphrams, binos, snacks, gloves, etc. The shoulder strap, which U can't see in this pic, makes it easy to carry in the woods. It's a great chair IMO.

I'm gonna be using TR rocket steelhead mech. BH's this season. They're dead on There's my chair:
