I've been "bow restless" this off season :d . Started with a DXT that I used all last season, then bought a Alphamax ... sold the DXT, then bought a Z28 and decided it was the one. Sold the Alphamax and will have a S2 (08 and 09 version of the switchback) as a backup to the Z.

Biggest accessories change was trying out the Anchor Sight. So far so good.

Bought an alphamax 32 and sold my tribute. I like the alpha max alot, but i really miss the tribute. Have the same accessories, ripcord rest and spott hogg hunter with the wrap. Looking to change to a single pin sight so I will be getting a new sight soon.

Thanks Ben. It's only the second bow I've ever owned and my first "high end" one. I figured I'd go all out.

Well, I've actually went through a couple of bows this year. I started out with my Drenalin (which I miss dearly) and traded for a Tribute, did not like the Tribby so I traded for a XT...now the XT has fibers coming off the side of the limb! I'm still shooting it and it's not showing any problems, but I do miss my Dren!

Still not 100% sure if I will or not. A buddy just got a Sentinel and I'd like to put a few through it to figure out if it's worth dropping the $$$ on it or not. I really like my Ally still, so I'm undecided. We will see......

Nope, no new bow for me...I'm saving money for a house and the bow I want will have to wait. The only things I've already bought (or will be buying this year) are new string wax, another dozen carbon express predator II arrows, and a new rubber piece for my string supressor. Also, I'll be using blazers on my arrows for the first time this fall. I bought just a few arrows with blazers to try out and after shooting them for awhile, I think I'm making the switch.

All that's left now is summer shooting and waitng for October to get here. I still have an extra 3-pack of Slick Trick Mags from last year, but I don't know if I'll even have to open them. The slick trick heads that went through deer last fall and winter are still as sharp as day one. I'm really surprised at how tough they are

No real upgrades. On the trad side, both bows are the same as last year.
On the wheeled side, I picked up a backup very late in the season last year & put new strings on it. Then I bought new rests & sights to fully outfit both bows. But I wouldn't call either bow "better" than the other as they are both 07 Allegiances with comparable accessories.

Picked up a like new '08 Allegiance and added a Sword Twilight Hunter sight, Octane 2 pc. quiver, Limbdriver rest. Put a new string and cable on the '05 Patriot and giving it to my son to use.

Still love the Patriot but really loving the Alley.

I went through a few as usual- A couple were not so great, a few were great and I thought I finally had it nailed down with the last one- It met all my criteria, I was shooting it well, confidence was high, and after a couple weeks that bow came apart at full draw- no warranty- didn't feel like spending a ton of $ replacing everything but the riser...and still not having a warranty.

This be the final purchase for the year- assuming it stays in one piece  (and yes it's backwards)

i went and test drove a 31 Carnivore today up at gander mt... i was duly impressed... most of the smootheness of the good ole 334 but with noticeably more speed and less sound, surprisingly quiet and smooth, very shock free... I very much liked it... the Z28 is gonna have to be a lot better to justify droppin the extra coin for an elite... still would like to demo an iceman and marquis though just for giggles as they are price competitive...

    I'm undecided....

I've been shooting the Trykon XL for 2 yrs now, and it still shoots like a DREAM....

But I also have a Katera XL that is courting me.....

And in all honesty, I'm still unsure which one I want to hunt with this fall.

I think I am keeping the Guardian. I put a LimbDriver on it and VaporTrail strings. I am looking at either a viper sight or HHA. I just can't decide if I want to stick with 4 pins or go to one. I also switched from Maxima 250s to FMJ 400s and from Muzzy 75gr to RazorTrick 100grs.

I got my Air Raid in on Friday. I'll post more on it after I am done with it.
