I recieved an e-mail ad about a Rytera Alien-X, If I had to guess they look like they may be affiliated with Martin... idk. Bow looks pretty cool though. I'm in the dark on this one, might be old news.

Rytera is made by Martin Archery. Martin Archery also owns Archerytalk. I got an email from them as well for their bows today. I would guess they are sending these emails out to all registered Archerytalk members.

The alien is one of the "flagship" bows of 2009. Their is a TON of interest in this bow, but not a whole lot of people have gotten them yet. I think they are by far the coolest lookin bows EVER lol! They are pretty darn quick too. The guy in the add shootin the bow shot 60X's with it!!! Thats pretty crazy for a 32" ATA bow imho...

Martin has been around for many, many years. I don't shoot a compound but I think all of the bow manufacturers are stealing Ideas from each other, even your beloved BT company has done It I'm sure.;)

I was looking at the rytera today, Mouldys archery and tackle in chippewa falls has them.I pulled it back
a couple of times and it was pretty smooth, didn,t have time to shoot one. The shelf and the side plates
on the grip are some sort of plastic or teflon. This bow is really compact and light and goes for about 550.00
I,m going back to shoot it some time next week.

Interesting bow. Lot's of hype. I am anxious to see where we stand on about 5 different bows, 6 months from now.
