Harvin had these same migranes not only all of last season...but for most of his life....he still did enough to be offensive rookie of the year in 09...im not too worried about him when the real season begins.

Rice has always had the talent to be a star but had injury plaged seasons before last year....but Favre certainly does deserve some credit him helping him develope

Thats who I was thinking too. If AP is truely one of the best backs....he has to be on the field more. They don't trust his blocking in an obvious passing down?

They used AP some in 3rd down passing situations last year and would expect to see more of it this year

Sorry Vike fans...I drafted Gerhart 2nd to last round in Fantasy Football...I'm going to need an injury plagued season for AP.

Even at 40 years old Brett Farve could pass for 3000+ yards throwing to deaf-mute, paraplegic cripples. :nana:

Yeah, I know. He's lasted longer than I ever expected with all the injuries he had in college. I also hope Chris Johnson has some injuries as well after drafting Javon Ringer with my last pick. I like to draft the big boys back ups in late rounds. It isn't personal, I just want to win an extra couple grand come this January!

I dont' really see what the big deal is. Last I heard Favre makes everyone he throws to that much better. Pro Bowlers actually! So........ why even talk about the loss of Rice and Harvin? Favre is steering the ship. Just throw 2 other dudes out there and they shouldn't miss a beat right? Or wrong? Hmmmmmmmmm. Scary cause that could lead to an awful lot of questions.

Plausible deniability was actually an "out" for the Favre worshippers. But, I agree with you, NY. If they wanna hold the hard line he's great enough to elevate those around him........

.................then there'll be no excuses - when the team fails. It'll be ALL on him.

Steve - relax. Everyone fails. I'm not saying he'll do it on a regular basis. But, you put a man (even though he weeps a lot, I do believe he has male parts) that high on a pedestal, and he's gonna fall short on occasion.

Based on everyone's comments, it CAN'T be someone else's fault, when he does. He elevates all those around him.

So....throw the plausible deni.......check that....throw the "built-in-excuses" out the window. You can't have it both ways.

Thats exactly the point. What is it? He's good enough to make Rice (an apparent nobody before Favre) a pro bowl receiver. Or now he's not going to perform (still up in the air) because he lost his best receiver? It's one way or the other.
