Paintthehat, you're from Huntsville? I'm from Decatur. Where do you hunt?

I'm a transplant. Kentucky boy finishing up school in Birmingham. I hunt some down about 15 miles outside of Montgomery and also a place down south of Thomasville. Don't get out much for deer season with football and school going on, but I go nearly every weekend for turkey season. Called in and watched 11 toms die last spring. Hope to pass that mark in 2014.

TEmbry, I've been hunting a couple of times this year in Butler and Lowndes Co. Have friend down in Greenville and we go either to his property and connections or to WMA. That's why I bought a bow, Management land is mostly archery only.

I'm in a club that has property in Winston, Marion, and Morgan counties.

haven't seen much chasing on camera or in daylight. I've heard that things are starting to kick off though.

I hunt in Monroe county, just starting to see a few fresh rubs, got 3 mock scrapes that are in staging areas that have started seeing a few visitors, mainly small bucks,...better hurry up and get going, running out of season quick,..
