So when do you think this ammo rush will finally end ? How long will it take for the manufactures to catch up? Will people continue to hoard? If so, for how long? Looking at bare ammo shelves and seeing "out of stock" for everything I want is really getting old.
What does the AWB have to do with ammo? From a logical standpoint. I realize people hoarding because of the AWB. But it makes no sense to me why they are doing this. What happens if the AWB passes? Does that mean ammo will never return to "normal"?
I have a feeling a lot are doing it because they believe there will be a ridiculous asinine tax put on ammo in the future. Just a hunch.
Well since that isn't going to happen when will people wise up and figure this out? I have not heard anyone bring up a stiff ammo tax. Perhpas I missed it? I don't know where people would be getting this from.
If people were being logical, there wouldn't be a rush on ammo. People are buying guns of all types, and stocks & stocks of ammo to go along with. Even if they dont need it. Assuming the gun regulations get beat down & don't pass, look for a huge flood of "used" guns that people bought, tucked in thier nightstand and put maybe 1 box of ammo thru. After a year or 2 they will look to dump them off to but Christmas presents.

Some of it may be do to the fear of national level resitrictions mirroring what was passed in NY. No online sales of ammo, backround checks required for all purchases of ammo, and all purchases reported to the New York State Troopers so they can keep tabs on bulk buyers. So there is a reason for the madness.
Ammo purchases reported to the State Troopers? Here we go Big Brother....Orwell was correct. How about report all the fat laced McDonalds meals people buy (myself included) to their insurance companies? Or how about we report all cigarette/alcohol sales? Many more people die of fatness related deaths, and alcohol/cigarette related deaths than guns...so I guess it makes sense to track those as well. Or how about we invade people's privacy and track which prescription drugs they take each day. I have a better idea, why don't we track which internet websites people visit and report them to their employers? Or even better, lets have everyone wake up in the morning and submit to a breath alcohol test before getting in their cars....
Preaching to the choir, luckily was able to get a few last minute items. There's a good saying... 'When you think it's time to bury your guns, it is really time to dig them up'.
The government is out of control, in way to many respects. The latest round of bull **** gun control is only a symptom of the problem which mostly stems from big intrusive government on all levels, state federal and local. Too big and too intrusive, confiscatory taxes, disregard of Constitution by our elected officials.....Having to many guns and too much ammo is the least of our worry's.
