I get to work 12 hours Today, Saturday, and Sunday. Monday I'll take our little boy out on the ski boat while momma works. Seems like I work every memorial day weekend.
I spent the last two days working on a landscaping project in my yard. The next few days will consist largely of relaxing at the lake, hanging out with friends and family, grilling, drinking beer
Well.... I plan to drink beer. Having a guys night with cards and beer this evening. Go work at the farm tomorrow and maybe Sunday as well. Monday...who knows?
Taking the kids fishing on Saturday, cookout on Sunday and getting 200 bags ready and packaged for a customer in Iowa on Monday.
I'll spend one night this weekend drinking a twelve pack on my front porch and listening to some Dropkick Murphy's while reminiscing about the good times with my friends that were killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Just got finished making 22 pounds of Bratwurst. I smoked a couple pounds for some of my famous black bean and bratwurst soup with Italian bread. For lunch, we had fish tacos from some bass my son and I caught yesterday afternoon. Will be grilling a beef brisket all night tomorrow night. Other than that, preaching tomorrow, then loafing the rest of the day.

It rained so I get the day off. This weather is something else. Rain and then we sit for 4 days waiting for it to dry up so we can seed. Seed for 1.5 days then more rain only to wait another 4 days to seed. We are mudding it in. I'll have to throw up a picture of my new tractor we put on the planter. The Case 285 front wheel assist just wasn't going to cut it this spring. I would have been stuck all the time and leaving a lot of acres unseeded. Tim

Ive been working and I will be working tomorrow too since we open the store on tuesday. The bright side is holiday pay though. It gives me something to do, because if I wasn't working Id probably just be sitting at home.
Hitting the water with the entire family and my father in law in about 10 minutes! Hoping to bring home some fish for the kids to clean and cook. Should be hilarious.
