I'm seriously thinking about the Cuddeback Capture, didn't think I would jump on the Cudde wagon, but the pics don't lie... My moultries are still working but with flaws.... My M1.3 has no battery life and my I-40 display screen went out.

So with that being said is the Capture the best Camera for $200? Or is there something else worth taking a look at? And I prefer it NOT to be IR as my i40 blurs the animal out with any movement.

I need something that is pretty reliable and uses SD card (don't they all?) as I usually get thousands of pics per year.

    Thanks guys.

I don't own a Capture but from what I've heard you can't go wrong with them. I too wouldn't get the IR Capture, their night pics suck! Yes the Capture uses an SD card.

We have two cudde capture and they are fantastic. Great day and night pics. Response time is great. Pics are so clear. Here is a day and night pic from the capture.

scoutguard 550...great pictures day and night, video and you can have your delay time under 30 seconds, anywhere from 6sec to 60 min (cuddeback you have to wait 30 or more) battery life is unreal, i have had the same set of batteries since december! thank me later :nana:

Bushnell trophy cam, they are the best camera on the market for the price and trigger speed is great and the batteries last longer then a Cuddeback.

Does the flash seem to scare game at all? I have only owned IR cameras because I was always leery of the flash cams.

I did some research on the camera and it seems to be solid. How is the mounting system? How reliable has it been? How is the trigger speed? I am very interested in trying one of these.

the mounting system is great, i have had 1 problem with 3 of mine but i sent it back and got a new one and no problems..trigger speed is like 1.3 or something, if your big on trigger speed then you got nothing to worry about...battery life is a big plus for me, for 200 bucks you could get 3 for the price of 1 reconyx and cover 3 times the ground, i could show you a link to my pictures to compare picture quality if you like....

I gotta go with the Scoutguard, not just because I sell them, battery life is great, quality is above average and trigger speed is adequate.
