So our forefathers who had slaves and assaulted them, had kids with them were what? More in tune with god? I wish some of you could go back in time and actually live in these times you feel we're better.

The time our forefathers lived in , really . At least according to history the majority of our nation were depicted as GOD fearing people .

 

I think the beginning of the decline can be traced back to the point where women were allowed to vote. I know I'll get flamed for this, but I don't care.

(I do think women should be allowed to hold public office though.)

I think it is multiple things. Which straw will breaks the camel's back; Who Knows! But, I know this much, it is all summed up in this.."Love the Father in Heaven, with All Your Heart, with All Your Soul, with All Your Might and with All Your Strength." and "Love your neighbor as yourself." The failure to do these 2 things, that He commanded, describes our society in all of it's Wicked Spendor! And the failure to do these 2 things will certainly cause our demise!

 

When we give up the right to keep and bear arms the liberties we all enjoy will taken away at a shocking rate, and those willing to give them up seem more bound than ever to achieve this.

 

I can't help but laugh at the irony connecting your handle to your mindset outlined in this post... yet at the same time, I feel guilty for laughing cause I can reasonable guess just how true that irony likely is.

I'm a Christian, I believe homosexuality is a sin. I also believe gay marriage should be legalized. If Muslims and Atheists can be legally married, so too should the Gay community. I still haven't had a logical rebuttal to this statement presented to me by ANY Christian. The Church shouldn't have to be (and wouldn't be) forced to ordain these marriages, but they should still be legal to happen.

I dont want to guess at exactly what will happen, but I believe our downfall will involve Iran and Isreal with us getting caught up in the middle of it.

Haven't you heard, what our founders intended is no longer important as the Constitution is a "living breathing document" that can be reinterpreted whenever someone wants to.

 

to be fair, I do think that we, as a nation, should have the ability to adapt

if we do not, I could see this being our undoing as well

adaptation has been proven to be crucial in the survival of any entity

 

Companies that don't adapt die, in fact one of the great things our forefathers did was give us a document that could be amended, so we could adapt.
