I understand what a theory is. It's obvious scientist of today are confused about theory and fact. Consensus can not change that.


Evolution has been witnessed, but not man from ape. This will always be theory because it CAN NOT be proven.

If it could, this part of the debate would end.

We didn't evolve from apes.

Apes and man have a common ancestor way, way, back. All of us primates evolved in different directions. If you follow the fossil record, we went through many, many changes before we hit our present form. We had a real close cousin, the Neanderthals, who did go extinct. Evidently our ancestors interbred with them maybe 20-30,000 years ago because they've found we have some of their DNA.

I reserve the right to correct anything I've posted if my wife reads it and tells me I'm wrong about something.

The Bible is a great book, but you can't learn this kind of stuff from the Bible.

Let me toss in one more thing. The theory of evolution is not really a "fact" per se. It is an explanation for a huge collection of facts demonstrating how all the species, both extinct and existent today came about.

 

This threas has certainly come full circle. If we could squeeze NWO in there, that would be great, thanks.

 

And this is why theory, ,unless proven, can not be fact.

I honestly don't understand why there has to be an argument about evolution and religious believes. I believe they can co-exist, one can accept that we evolved from something and still believe that there is a creator.

I do find it strange that there's only one species of humans that survived, when every other species has many variations that are as dissimilar as they are similar.
