Hey, you can never be too careful... Lmao.

I got a dozen easton lightspeed 3d shafts, an amazon GC and a big Cabela's GC.

I bought Kendall a Wii... he opened it early and has been playing it almost non stop... it's amusing to watch and play. :D

First christmas since I was likely 6 or 7 that I didn't get anything hunting related. Couldn't think of much I really needed, I just asked for 3 specific polo tshirts this year....got much more than anticipated. Another great year with family.

I sure hope it doesn't come back to bite me not asking for anything hunting wise. lol

LOL... Yeah, Christine... I've got an awesome fur-handling DVD already by Matt Jones called "After the Catch".... it's pretty much supposed to be the Bible of fur handling (it better be for for what it cost!) even though I just got another one by Hal Sullivan.

Anyway.. Matt says in his DVD that he prefers Sheffield fleshing knives... I looked them up online and once I saw the cost of those... Wow! Yep, the Necker's gonna be plenty nice enough for me, LOL!

By the way... you ever bought any trapping DVDs? I know that era in your life was just a bit "back in the day" for you so you may not have seen what they cost now, but ... Wowza!! I'm serious... we need to put our own together in a couple years and all we'd need to do is sell about 1,000 at current market prices and we could both retire. :)

I have the cheapo, immediately rust, hard to sharpen, easy to dull, no name fleshing knives. I sold most of my furs green. 'Cept for 'rats, and you don't need a fleshing knife for them. So.. I got away with cheap knives... but I dream of someday owning a decent one. For taxidermy if nothing else.

Trapping DVD's? LOL! No, but I do have several trapping/fur handling VHS tapes. They were pricey enough.. I'm scared to think what the DVD's cost. :D
