Very long story made short - I've been kicking around the idea of doing a weekly YouTube show covering all of the latest things happening in the archery/bowhunting/outdoor world. Something short (3o min or less) that is more easily consumed than most of the 2-3 hour podcasts out there. We didn't have any intention of releasing it as an actual podcast, but we figured if we were coming this far, we might as well take the audio and throw it out there. And with that, The Pinch Point was born. If you're bored and you want to listen to me talk about random crap like hunters shooting people's dogs, "celebrities" getting busted for poaching, and people trying to kill each other with bows and arrows, give it a watch/listen. It's on Bowhunting.com's YouTube channel, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and a few other spots. Next week we do have a longer show coming where Todd and I break down the recent NDA Deer Report. That's a "special episode." I'll also have my first remote guest next week when PJ Reilly joins me to talk about the recent Outdoor Life bow test that was released today. I aim to determine how much Elite paid them to win the Editor's Choice award. https://www.bowhunting.com/the-pinch-point/ Latest episode:
Awesome!!! I'm heading to Texas for a hog hunt on the 23rd. Driving from Minnesota. This will make the drive go faster.
I haven't missed a single one since it started. I'm looking forward to the deer report episode. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
Awesome. I've personally rediscovered podcasts and like the idea. You can cover a much broader range of topics, focusing on something during a podcast and be more "nimble" with current events in the hunting world. Looking forward to it!
I always enjoyed small quick podcasts like "how I heard it" by Mike Rowe but when he changed format to an in-depth cohesive talks I actually liked it even more. Some subjects just need to be debated Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
@Justin just watched the podcast and agree 110% on the stupid illinois law. Would an online petition be a good idea? I have no idea about these things but sounds like it may be a step in the right direction.
