The run on Ruger (RGR) started 2 years ago, S&W (SWHC) 1 year ago...~200+% increases. AB Inbev is only up ~100% in the past 2 years.

I think it will be a slow downfall, and eventually we will correct it....it's just what happens at that point.

Things Ebb and Flow through history granted, but the one fact is that we can't continue at the current rate of spending as a government (or increase it for that matter) without collapse. We will have to severely cut back spending to decrease the deficit, regardless of where we decide to cut it back. How will people react when we do? Or will it have to reach the point of catastrophe before people will accept it?

 

Probably have to raise taxes too..

 

Our spending is nearly twice our annual taxes brought in, and our debt has already or soon will surpass the entire GDP.

It isn't an income problem, it's a spending problem.

But yeah if you want my honest opinion, Taxes will go way up as spending is cut if this problem is ever to be corrected.

I don't know anything about anything but this right here is my job security! Being EMS and all.

 

Death and Taxes are certain. My wife and I have been taking steps to limit our tax liability for years and that coarse hasn't changed with this current election results. That includes shorting the dollar and hedging ourselves against the continued historic levels of prosperity that we have seen in the past in this country. This isnt re-eventing the wheel for investing...there are successful models to follow all though out Europe where people have hedged themselves against their countries prosperity.

 

I think with the explosion of technology, the need for staggering amounts of money that fund these campaigns and actually determined the platforms these jack wagons run on may be coming to an end....

You tube is not only free, but if the right person with the right credentials would get on there and start campaigning, we might see the end of the Alien vs Predato.....er, i mean the Democrat vs Republican BS we have gotten forever...

It's a great a really system and I wouldn't want either party to have complete control but with so many of the population on public assistance now I believe that ship has sailed.
