I was kind of pumped about having the pin nock adapters and pin nocks installed to protect my arrows at our 3D shoots, but it's a no-go. I just had my third brand new Gold Tip HD pin nock break when I shot it. I took them off and put my regular nocks back on. The pin nocks just don't stand up to 70# pushing a 530 grain arrow.

Any suggestions other than making sure I shoot last?

Black. That's the secret to not getting your nocks shot off in a 3D shoot, black fletchings and black nocks, that or miss really bad every time.

I've shot pin nocks for several years and never had that many problems with them... they're the ones made for Victory arrows, but I'm thinking they're just Bohning pin nocks.
